MOON KING ANNOUNCE US TOUR WITH MR TWIN SISTER

Toronto duo Moon King released their debut LP Secret Life last month on Last Gang Records. Now, the band is wrapping up a run of dates with Doldrums and have announced a summer tour with Mr Twin Sister. A full round up of tour dates can be found below.

FADER call Secret Life "awesomely psychedelic," going on to describe it as "impressively varied and psychedelic." Impose spoke of the album as well, saying "The band toured relentlessly in 2013, resulting in the sort of cathartic live energy that surfaces on the new songs. Pitchfork note "Moon King turn sorrow into something worth getting ecstatic about, and they aren't afraid to share the feeling."

Brooklyn Vegan caught one of the band's shows last month and described it, saying "Frontman Daniel Woodhead was a nonstop ball of energy and he and Maddy Wilde's harmonies sounded great." Phoenix New Times go on to remark: "Search for the group's performances on YouTube and you'll get the idea: raw, haunting music that erupts with inventiveness."
