"Them Buffalo," the new record from musician Tom Levin, is a notable release, often filled with surprises. For those whom enjoy folk infused rock music, Tom Levin delivers on this latest release. This album is the second which Levin had put out in 2014, acting as the follow up to his "Them Feet" record which broke through in his homeland of Sweden.
Tom brings his eclectic set of sounds to an international audience this time around; his latest single "Mind's Eye" as the start point. Notable tracks from the record also include the lively "Thunder On," and from the other side of the spectrum, the emotional "History, Beliefs, and Bearded Men." The album showcases many sides of folk, while stringing the songs together with a common thread. Tom's vocals are spot-on, fitting perfectly with his intricate guitar playing and other various instruments. Key tracks to seek out also include "Girl from Nova Scotia" and "Summered." Tom Levin's "Them Buffalo" is a well rounded record, which will hopefully grace the ears of many.
